Interview Stuff
Interview skills need to be overhauled. I didn't get either of the jobs I applied for. Talked to my dad about the fact; tried to get him to go talk to his contacts and see if he could glean any information. Dad's suggestion was that my interview skills are lacking. I wouldn't be getting the interviews I'm getting unless my interviewing ability was OK. But still... That got my wheels turning. I want to go to my administrator friend and get his input on answers to the questions that are in my head: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Why do you want to work here? Why should we hire you? Tell me about the time you had to compromise. What does good teaching look like? I'll add to this list as I think of more.
